Instructions for Optimal Viewing of This Site

1) Screen resolution: For best viewing of this web site, you should use a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768. If you have JavaScript enabled in your Internet Options (see below), your current screen resolution will be reported above. Otherwise, to determine (or change) your screen resolution, click the Windows "Start" button, then Settings, Control Panel, Display and then click on the Settings Tab; alternatively, you can also right-click an open area on your Desktop, select Properties, then Display, and Settings (Note that in a Network environment, you may need the assistance of your Network Administrator to access this function). In the Settings tab, observe the Screen Area resolution under the slider control - this is your present screen resolution. If you haven't experimented with this yet, now may be a good time to try increasing the resolution (slide the control incrementally to the right [multiple settings are available] and then click "Apply" and see if the screen provides adequate legibility for your use - Follow directions from there to accept the setting or reset it to another value).

If your eyesight can handle the reduction in image size, the bonus is increased "screen real estate", which is especially useful in spreadsheet applications as you can see more columns and rows at one time which visually promotes easier understanding of more complex models.

Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings. It is a good idea to double-check that JavaScript is still enabled if you notice problems when visiting web sites. Additionally, if your JavaScript setting is set to 'Prompt', you may encounter a warning about downloading potentially dangerous scripts from a web site that uses JavaScript to enhance site functionality.

If you are still experiencing problems after ensuring that JavaScript is enabled in your browser, you may want to check if you have any personal firewall or security software installed that might be interfering with normal browser operations.
